prayer for healing from smoking
Posted by thnk-u-jesus1 on Wednesday, July 25, 2007 (00:40:34) (9656 reads)
Dear God,
Please lead [name] away from this deadly nicotine,
help [name] find his way to a tobacco-free life,
help [name] become healthy again,
for [name] is your child, God,
and you love [name] dearly, just as you love the rest of us,
Oh, [name] has made his mistakes,
[customize],
but as you know, [name] is still very well deserving,
And [name] is calling out for your help,
Guide, dear LORD, lead the way to the healing that [name] seeks.
In Jesus' name,
Amen.

Dear Heavenly father of mine,
I ask of your forgiveness for what I have done,
I have cursed,
I have lusted,
I have hated; murder of the heart,
I just seek your forgiveness hoping you'll accept this apology,
Amen.

The Serenity Prayer
Posted by MyBible on Monday, November 14, 2005 (17:00:02) (12054 reads)
God grant me the SERENITY to
accept the things I cannot change;
COURAGE to change the things I can;
and WISDOM to know the difference.
Living one day at a time;
enjoying one moment at a time;
accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it:
Trusting that He will make all things
right if I surrender to His Will;
that I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him forever in the next.
Amen

The Lord's Prayer
Posted by MyBible on Sunday, October 16, 2005 (22:12:30) (1652 reads)
Matthew 6:9-13
Our Father which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil:
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
